Does anybody know of a decent alternative for printing/proofing on this machine. I am currently using HP Coated Paper 24in x 150ft which I can get for around £20 a roll.

    Cheers

Are you searching for cheaper price or better quality?

That's pretty cheap for coated -- I use a lot of azon coated paper, but it's more per roll.

Hi I'm using Océ 600x30mtrs for around 27.00gbp a roll.

It's got a good gloss level and produces as accurate proofs as we used to get from Maranello at over 3 times the price.

I have to agree with Jeff, what you're using sounds very cheap. Why are you looking to change?

We actually carry the AZON 24lb 24"x150' coated color bond for around $26 (US) per roll. I'm not sure what the Euro is up to now compared to the us dollar, but around the same price as what your paying, and our pricing is extremely competitive. There may be cheaper color coated papers available, but your quality is going to go down.

I use a lot of the FastPlot papers for my work. I don't use much 24# paper but a lot of 47# coated papers for posters and whatnot. I am paying around $35 per roll with free shipping on a 36" x 100' roll. One of the cheapest I've seen out there.
