Default gloss or luster for 2-sided printing?

Can someone recommend some gloss and luster inkjet papers that are unbranded/unmarked and printable (double side coated) for 2-sided printing on Canon and Epson pigment printers?

Inkjetart Micro Ceramic Luster Duo
http://www.inkjetart.com/photo_paper...uster_duo.html

Quote:
Micro Ceramic Luster Duo is DOUBLE-SIDED -- with an inkjet receptive layer on both sides! Although Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper, Ilford Galerie Smooth Gloss, Lyson Professional Photo Gloss and Lumijet Ultra Gloss are comparable with our Micro Ceramic Gloss, none are available with a DOUBLE-SIDED COATING! Duo has is slightly glossier gloss than the Micro Ceramic Luster, and is slightly less brilliant white.

Inkjetart Micro Ceramic Luster Duo is a 285gsm 11.8 mil thick sheet that is coated on BOTH SIDES. Duo is both pigment* and dye ink compatible. (if your printer works with the Epson Premium Luster or Ilford Smooth Pearl, it'll work fine!)
But it's expensive at $1.12 for an 8.5 x 11 sheet or $2.4 per 11 x 17 sheet.

Any cheaper options? $1.12 is pretty expensive per sheet.

another 2 sided paper

Red River has a new 2 sided glossy inkjet paper that I used this week for my handcrafted books of photographic prints. Excellent image quality with Ultrachrome K3 inks. This is a noticeably thick paper. It is 65lb premium gloss DUO (product #1241) It's advertised as 12 mil and 240gsm but feels heavier.
This is a gloss surface, not luster and not toothed at all. It's the only 2 sided paper I've found that is truly gloss on both sides. Price is $48 for 50 sheets.
redriverpaper.com, or 1-888-248-8774. Their 65lb premium MATTE (#1530) is one of the best matte 2 side papers I've found for photographs...50 sheets $23.05.
The glossy is thick enough that I find it best to increase the platen gap on my Epson 3800 from the default 3mm/auto to 7mm/wide.
For LUSTER finish I use Lumijet Portfolio Series Glossy 2 sides (10.5 mil/285gsm). It's not really glossy, but luster finish...excellent image quality but costs close to $2 per sheet. Freestyle has the best price I've found for this one.

Thanks Burro!

I've run cards from redriver a few times now and been pleased (though thicker is better so this new stock sounds really good!), the last time was a couple years ago so I forgot about checking their website. Will definitely give redriver's 1241 two-sided gloss a try!

I've tried other two-sided papers. Inkpress Luster Duo is only 62c per sheet in letter size.
I've tried the inkjetart microceramic luster 2 sides too. Image quality is excellent for both these brands, but I score my sheets prior to making books so that the pages will open flat more easily. (I use these papers in landscape mode, thus I am scoring along the short end). I have found that the inkjetart will not score well at all in letter size. Neither will the Inkpress Luster Duo, at least not in letter size. However, in 5 x 7 size the Inkpress will accept a score quite well. It is a matter of the direction of grain. Interesting to note that the Red River papers accept a score quite well, regardless of size or direction.
The Red River Premium Gloss Duo (65lb.) is what I've settled on for letter size books because it scores well, has fine image quality, and the heavy weight of this paper gives an impressive feel to the reader.
The richinkjet company appears to only sell in large quantities, so I haven't tried it.

Does anyone know of any other 2 sided glossy paper options?
