Have you ever spot varnished over a sheet that has been laminated?

Any suggestions on a Matte/Dull vanish that will dry or adhere to the laminate? We are using a printable laminate but our varnish that we use will not dry.

    Stock: 12pt C1S
Varnish: INX OSF Dull overprint Varnish

That's always going to be a problem, did the top sheets dry. Usually we would add some 12% cobalt and use the largest particle spray powder you have, al little iso alcohol would hurt

you might try a large amount of speedy dry but contact your ink company and ask them for a varnish for non porous stock. might have to lay them out. good luck

oxybind varnish, or a 100 percent solids varnish. Id use 35 micron powder running job in small lifts and then winded at least 1 time, once varnish begins to set. Full cure may take a 24 hours, or perhaps even more!!! If at all possible you may want to try running varnish dry.

Metallic inks will lose the "sheen" under a coating if you do not use a special coat-able "non leafing" silver.
