    I have the machine running.

A couple of problems I have:
It looks like there is too less imaging oil on one side of the developer drum.
What is causing this and can I fix it?

I wanted to replace the wiper blades. I noticed the blades are not very well clamped. Some not at all. Or there is already a half blade extra in it.
Is there a way too fix this, or do they need replaced?

    Kind regards,
    Rob

Not sure which indigo model you have. My experience is with the 3050 model. As far as the imaging oil, you'll need to perform a flow calibration and then possibly clean out the service / cleaning station. If the flow is uneven, you may need a new sponge roller or like you say, replace the wiper blade. On the 3050, the wiper blade can be used on 4 different edges. You'll notice a little stamped number on the blade itself to help you keep track of this. You should be able to gently squeeze the blade holder to release the blade and it should allow you to easily remove and reset the blade. You can rotate the blade or flip it to get a fresh edge. Don't continue to run dry as you'll scratch your pip.

    Thank you Kringle.

    We have a Indigo 1050.
I think these things are different.

I could not find a menu too calibrate the flow.
And the wiper blade is a doctor blade.

I mean blades for the colors.

If anyone has some info, I like to hear it.

    Hi Rob,
I'd check to see if the slit injector is aligned properly. There is a section in the service manual that shows how to align it.

If the blades aren't being held in the wipers properly you will need to replace the wipers. To get into the flow settings click on one of the ink tanks then click Flow Setup. There is a section in the manual about delay and duration, make sure you read it as if it isn't setup right you will get ink contamination.

Good luck. Feel free to shoot me an email if you get stuck.

    Hi,

I was on holiday. Here I am again.

I checked the slit injectors. On 1 side it is 0.9 mm and the other 1.4.
At the side where the problems are, it is 1.4.
The flow of the nozzle mostly on the right side looks good, every next nozzle to the left it is getting a little less and the nozzle on the left is not constant and it looks sometimes if there are air bubbles in the flow.

In the manual they show what the imaging flow should be.

Co-ordinate the flow rate of the Slit-Injector’s Imaging-Oil add line,
Reverse Roller and the Cleaning Station (all fed by the same pump)
Slit Injector Imaging Oil Add flow rate is 250cc/30sec
Reverse Roller Imaging Oil flow rate is 1.9 liter/min.
Cleaning Station Imaging Oil flow rate: make sure that the flow’s height is 3 cm
(1.2”) from tip of nozzle; ensure uniformity of flow from all nozzles.

    How do I check this?

I found how too align the slit injectors. It looked a little difficult, so I did not do this yet.

Some wipers need to be replaced. If anyone has them for sale, let me know.

How much imaging oil do you need normaly per day. I am only testing the machine a bit and I have the feeling I need pretty much oil.

    Thanks,
    Rob
