What is CP tronics and CPC

I'm just going for 4 col Heidelberg MOV and want to know more about CP tronics and CPC 1-02. Also please clearify me what is Bacher register system. Is Remote register possible in MOVP 1991.

The CP tronics basically controls press functions e.g what you want to happen like switching units on or off and CPC 1-02 controls ink and register.
The Bacher register system is a plate punch (and film) positioning system with special cutouts which match a register device on the plate clamps on the machine making plate to plate register more accurate.
Remote register is available on the MO via CP 1-02 called CP 41 or 42 (which was like a hand held densitometer, its been so long since i saw one !!) but they were not good and you had to burn special register marks on the plate for the system to work.......basically avoid it !!!!!!, but if you get it with the machine, just put it in a box, never to see the light of day again.

Thanks for the information. I still wonder if adjusting lateral, circumferential or diagonal register is possible via CPC. Or do we need to adjust it all manually.
One more thing how much time will it take to make ready for print (Fitting plate, ink setting, registration) if doing manually or via console if possible.

 

On a MOV with CPC, you have about 2mm total movement both laterally and circumferentially via the console, I don't think they have plate cocking at all.

I could hang plates, make ready and have checkable sheets in about half an hour, for a new pressman say about an hour or so.

 

The CP Tronics is fairly user friendly , once youve used it in prodution you will find it will help you cut down m/r times and if I rememeber correctley you should be able to prep the next job while in production , I could be wrong on that its been a while since Ive used a heidelberg , and now the software on the new XLs is totally different. Are you processing your CIP files? dont know if thats available with CP Tronics but it sure helps get you closer to running

Without cp Tronic and conventional damp
Would you suggest which machine to buy we
Do text books which are single colours inside and printed 4 colours covers pls advice some times we do 4 colour text books also as well
