    Hello,

I have seen days when a faulty analog input for the pneumatic sensor on the SAK2 can really drive you crazy, I have particularly found this problem typical to troubleshoot on a CP2000 press since the software takes time to load and you don't have a measure of the current until the software has fully loaded, yes you can connect a milli amp meter in series with the sensor's current loop but then it's always nice to have a quickly accessible method of knowing what pressure the milli amps correspond to. I have built this device which can measure the milli amps and can give you the corresponding pressure at the push of a button.

Furthermore I have designed this to have the exact same input impedance as that of an SAK board's analog input, so if the SAK has a faulty input the sensor can be disconnected from the backplane and can be connected directly to this device to check the current loop.

Here is a bench-top testing video of the device, the device normally shows the current in mili- amps, push the button and you get the pressure displayed in bars.

The memory analog board SAK2 is a revision of the SAK. The SAK2 can replace the SAK, but not
    the other way round.
The SAK2 is characterized by a higher accuracy of the analog section.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for your kind words kartal55, like aqazi81 said sak2 is a revision of sak, I didn't know about the accuracy of the analog section so thank you Asif for adding that to my knowledge.

    Hi

I have a faulty for the pneumatic sensor on the SAK2, on the CP2000 screen it always blink ( lees than one second) with a red notification mentioning low air pressure even though the pressure indicator is on 10bar. Can you advise how many mili amps should the machine run. I really need your help as my machine is not running since last week

Do you have an electrical circuit drawing of the device posted on youtube

    Thanks for your quick response
