stripes on one unit on CD 74-5+L

Customer have a problem with stripes in fourth unit. I adjust the rollers by the specification for the machine. But there still a light stripe in screen around 15%. The machine has 150.000.000 printed sheets. The rollers are one year old. The customer is printing also up to 0.30 density for CMYK to get the right result on the printed sheet to the sample.

when you say there is a stripe, I am guessing you mean a streak on the sheet in a 15% screen. Measure this streak from the lead edge of the sheet. Measure the width of the streak. Let me know what those measurements are. Also blankets make a huge difference in hiding streaks. I dont know what kind of blankets you have access to but I recently worked on a press with streaks. I put on Day3000 blankets and the streaks were gone.

 

Check your roller and damper settings just in case something is out of spec.

As exheidmach suggested, try a high quality blanket like the Day3000. Torque your blankes to 46nm. Make sure they are packed properly, you want to be EVEN with bearer. Try this and let us know what happends.
