    Hi Gents
Would any one be able to supply me with a PDF of the wiring for our SM74 5P3
    year 1998 serial no 622 688.
In particular the wiring for circuit for switch -15K18M.
Our pump for vacuum on feeder wont fire up.

    Many Thanks

    Mark

You mean feeder pump or transfer drum pump?
M18 is the transfer drum vacuum pump.
For M18, check 15Q18 overload cutoff first.
And check the 15K18M contactor pulls in. Then check the voltage across all 3 terminals after the contactor.

The pump in question is the feeder.

Does the lamp under the feeder on button light up when you press it?
check the coil voltage of the contactor 15K2M and check whether it's pull in
    Check the overload 15Q2

So then you have 2 problems,

    Feeder pump doesn't turn on,
Feeder itself doesn't turn on too

But as far as I know, those two are independent functions.
    Anyway, try this.
First of All make sure all NTKs glowing their green LEDs, (assuming your machine is CPtronic modular)
Push the contactor 15K2M by hand, just to make sure the pump is ok.

    Tell me the result

No its just feeder suction pump the feeder runs but no vacuum either with plain paper or on production.
Had pump tested & motor ok.

    One last question,
Does the pump turn on when you press the pump on button? Or at least the lamp in the button light up?

Do you have blow air on the feeder? Just only suction missing?

Aa... that means pump is working fine.
Seems you have an in feed issue. Check the infeed value. It might not be actuating when you press the indeed button.
Is the lamp in the infeed button lights when you press it?
Or it barely lights as soon as you press it and extinguish?

Anyway, in latter case, check the delivery pile lower limit buttons for their correct function. Is the downward movement of the delivery pile working?
If the machine detects the lower limit of the delivery pile, then it won't turn on the infeed.

Movement is possible but delivery plate doesn't seem to go flat to floor.

Then check the lower limit switch for correct function. Monitor EAK input as you press it by hand. (Sorry but can't remember the input number)
You have to repair that before feeder issue.

Pleasure to help you out mark. :)

You mean the ultrasonic double sheet detector (lambda epsilon sensor) on the feed table end?

    I haven't done it before,
But give me a couple of days. I'll try to find some info on that.
