I run a Speedmaster 52 and the dampeners are slow to engage on 2nd unit drive side. Loads up with water. I can help this by exercising it in and out a couple times. And also have a problem with back cylinder adjustment on first unit. Any solutions will be appreciated.

Dampener...one unit, one side. Be sure your roller settings are in spec before anything, but next would be the piston (pneumatic ram). They do weaken due to breakdown of internal seals. Impression issue? What? Not achieving preset value? Servo drive may be failing or read back potentiometer soiled or failing.

Your two problems are very simple fixes. You will need to remove the bridge roller hanger on the drive side. This means you will need to remove the water form roller lock. There is a 10mm allen behind the toggle, be careful when you remove the 10mm allen there is also a spring and two washers that will come out when you remove the nut. Good idea to use rags in this area to catch any dropped parts. Once you get this lock out you will need to remove the snap ring that holds the bridge roller hanger. Once you get the snap ring off and any shims behind it you will need to slide the bridge roller hanger laterally off its shaft. You will likely find a bit of resistance since this is where your problem is. Most likely you will find pressure rust in this area. Clean, regrease and reassemble. You should be good after you complete this process. As far as your back cylinder pressure issue, most likely the servo is on its way out, good idea to get it replaced before it fails completely.

We have had the main damper form roller journal seize on a number of occasions the easiest way to check is remove all the dampers and just fire the damper journal on and off if it is very slow drive side it might be that. Just a word of warning tho if you do start removing the journals be carefull of the position of the chrome roller adjusting screw because it has a hammer style adjuster that sits in the damper form roller journal and if you lose the position of it you will not be able to adjust your chrome roller correctly.
