sm52 emulsification prob

    Im new to the sm 52 But we are having probs with emulsification Mainly cyan and red Do you run with z roller on or off It makes no difference to us Always the same prob Damp really hard to settle Damps running anywhere between 25% to 45% ???? Plates are fuji processless plate and we run stocastic
    Any Ideas

    What type of rubber are you running in your damping system. (supplier) ??

    You should be able to run with the link (z) roller off.

    The rollers are botcher i think We have had the z roller on and off But makes no difference
    water is 3.5 dosed with font and 6% alc water temp around 9.5 All rollers are set as per the recommended settings

    Are all the other units working correctly without any issues ?

    Its there on all units Just more noticable on cyan and red

    If its happening on all units then there has to be something common to the whole machine.

    Re-check all the settings.

    Check to make sure the fount sol and alcohol is dosing correctly.
