If the motor is still working and you know the position of the motor is correct mechanically, meaning the pressure setting value is not blinking its very easy. Just remove the cable and plug it into the new motor not mounted yet. Change the setting in CPTronic to a different value and then back to the original value. This will force the motor to move from its factory setting to the one you have selected. Then mount the motor. If its not working you will need a 0.35mm (.014") long feeler. Remove the old motor and put the press on impression. Manually increase or decrease the pressure setting by turning the spindle the motor is attached to until you have heavy drag between blanket and impression measuring at the bearer. Plug in the motor leaving it hanging. Set paper thickness to .10mm. Let the motor complete its movement before mounting. Done

might want to consider drilling the plastic cover that shrouds the motor at the covers lowest point to aid in the draining of excess oil from the motor. This may help with prolonging your new motors life. Unless of course Heidelberg has seen fit to remedy this design flaw in their replacement motors and housing!!! Have you found this to be true exheidmech?

The new motor should come with a rubber boot around the shaft. Really shouldnt be an issue.
