Is the press in straight printing mode or perfecting mode?

T with a circle around it describes a dynamic error. You should be able to find an alpha numeric code in the dynamic error screen. Go to the service wrench screen with the T and circle around it and find the error code that is flashing, that will help determine your issue. there is also an encoder on the rear of the main motor, and also one on the perfector. Check the connection on both of these and also provide the error code.

Thing ive solved it Checked drive belt There was grease on it and some of the v grooves are worn Cleaned it up and ordered new belt
This morning it seemed to have worked Will know better tomorrow But am i right in thinking if the beltd slipping That would mean the decoder sences a different press speed to the motor so stops?

You are correct in that assumption, the drive motor has an encoder and if it does not match up with the encoder on the press it will not run correctly. In your scenario the motor would have been running but the press would not have been moving. When the electronics between the motor and the press started comparing notes they would realize something was not right causing the motor to shut down.
