We were doing a wash up and the press stopped. An error was displayed synchronization monitor not acknowledged in pu. The next line says synchronization monitor, perfecting.

There is a symbol of the storage drum and the sheet reversing drum with a red bar between them. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

This means that there is a synchronization issue between the reversing cylinder and the storage drum. You will need to initiate a changeover going back to straight. Most of the time this will require a movement of the press with the handcrank after the changeover is initiated. Continue to turn the machine by hand until the press locks up. At this point remove the hand crank and hit the green checkmark at the consol once again. The press than should continue on its own back to straight printing very slowly. Once back in straight printing the press should run in straight printing like normal. You could then initiate a changeover once again back to perfect. If the sync errors are still there this process will need to be repeated to go back to straight. There are many reasons why you could be getting a sync error, bad sensors, misadjusted sensors, storage drum issues, clamping issues most likely this will need to be fixed by someone who knows what they are doing. First try to get the machine back to straight and convert to perfect, sometimes this will fix your issue.
