Hi, I have SM74 4 2008 model. Has anybody replaced CMOS (Motherboard) Battery of CP2000 computer. The battery is down and always shows the time and date 2007. Is it just simple as normal desktop computer or the process is vast. Is it possible that any settings of the CP2000 will be reset or deleted ?

Send a picture if you can or check the label on the top.

Fine, if you look carefully, on the rightside of the case, there is a small cap, open the screw and replace the battery while machine is ON. Then you should be assured BIOS settings are correct.

    Good luck,
