| I know there are only 2 adjustments for this unit. The wash-up roller to the blanket and the metering roller to the wash-up roller Does anyone have a simple way to adjust these settings? The book is so vague and frankly getting that unit to ink up well enough to check stripes is a real pain! We have an older QM that no matter what I do to these adjustments it just wants to track the image down the blanket and dump a load of solution on the OP side. Ther's gotta be a better way? The wash-up roller is only a year old or so...it doesn't appear swollen or to have low spots/areas on it. |

| Hi, Too much solution generally means there is too much fluid between the blanket wash roller and the metering roller and this is cut down by the small screw at each end of the roller on the shaft. There should be approx 0.5mm movement of the blanket wash roller when pulled towards the mettering roller. Too little fluid means the opposit and the ink will pick up on the blanket wash roller and not be removed. Have the black drive wheels been changed at all. Regards |
