    Main motor stops working

    I am having a problem for the last 2 days, Press stops while in production and doesn't run again, I have to turn off the main supply for about 10 minutes and then it works ok. while the press stops, I cant run but the press inches properly. may be something is wrong with the main motor.
    Press is 1987 SM 102 6 color.

    Check the brushes on the main motor. Check the brushes on both sides, slip ring and commutator. also check if the ventilator on the main motor is running. "over heating" is one of the reasons.

    Check brushes and replace them,check ventilator and gears.
