We are looking at a Heidelberg Quickmaster DI press for our shop. I would like to know any pros or cons. We do both long and short run jobs. We are told we can get a saleable sheet in 5-10 copies. Someone else who had one said registration is an issue, a new plate has to be made if it is not right.
The press seems in good shape, maintained by a Heidelberg trained tech.
    Any comments would be appreciated.

We've been running one for 10 years....great machine...I bet it was a salesperson that told you 5-10 sheets.....an operator would tell you it's closer to 25-50 but that still isn't bad. Runs well....we also have an Igen and Xerox 1000 so we have the best of both worlds. And while we haven't had a lot of issues with registration, on pretty rare occasions one unit might be off and yes, you do have to burn another plate. All in all I'd say we'd buy it again knowing what we know now. Good luck.
