| Toning has many causes; fountain solution too strong, inks too thinned out, insufficient dampening, wrong fountain chemistry. Are you running a PrintMaster? |

| yes, the boss put new rollers in the front unit and he seems to think the rollers are set right. Well I looked and reajusted the water rollers cause they were out of adjustment. He seems to think that the inking rollers are fine? I use the same formula on my fountain solution on both units. The 2nd unit is fine I can run all colors without toning, however its a no go on the first unit. Could there be a possibility that my inking rollers are carring to much ink and my dampening unit cannot keep up? |
