the tool is the one that is placed into a hole mounted on the D.Side of the GTO close to the Impression cylinder. This will be used to point to the '0' inscribed on the Imp. cylinder before securing the Graduation Scale mounted on the outside of the press on the D. side which is used to ascertain the degree when each process is done, Transfer gripper open, Etc...

One important thing to know, with presses up o serial no 651 587 there is no 0 mark on the impression cylinder but just a small mark and when you align the gauge with this mark, it is not the press 0 position but at center transfer position from transfer grippers to impression cylinder. Consequently the pointer at the graduated disk should be set at 328.8 degrees and clamped.

Good day, this photo is the only image of the tool I believe I need to identify or point the "0" point for us to use the graduated disc on our GTO52 press.
I really need to know the measurement from the point to the centre of the plug beside the Blanket/ Impression cylinder on the Drive side. this is so I can make one to specs then I can use to know exact position to clamp the Graduated disk/scale.

I really need one for the GTO press that we have in our Plant. If you are familiar with it can you give me the measurement of the size of it, or can you guide me where I can purchase one so that we can tweak our presses to run more efficiently. We are in Belize Central America. we are very dependent on foreign assistance due to lack of Institutional training in our country.

Hey Lynden - For those of us who may or may not possess any proprietary Heidelberg tooling, it would be unwise to transmit any dimensioning or sell such tooling or related proprietary documentation. HUSA has been very clear that they will prosecute any individuals involved in such actions. I've been offering guidance on repair procedures via this site for quite a few years, but I can't risk my well being on getting involved in the matters you request.
