getting trouble on SM74-5

Heloo
my sm74-5 suddenly stop when machine run.
after i try to restart a few times, the machine still error.
on cpc,cptronic and lcd display just show HEIDELBERG.can't show menu
i was cek the panel,i smell like a burned component.
i try to seacrh the burning component, but i can't find it.
all fused already to cek, and it ok
the compressed air can distributed to all machine
can you help me where the trouble come from?

 

Hi, just my bit of contribution. You have to start from measuring the three phase power supply to your press, ensure this is okay.Thereafter,see to it that the dc power supply boards NTK have their green leds on.They are located on the various levels of the swing frame in your electrical panel. If all these are okay check the 24vdc control voltage from terminals +1,+2,+3 w.r.t -1. See the result. Lest i forget you will need the services of a well grounded electrician to do this. Good luck.

 

1 power supply boards NTK on the bottom level that green leds died.i was switch with another NTK power supply board,and the new one still off. and green led of NTK power supply board from the bottom level can on.what can ido to the next check?

The led on the NTK on lowest level of rack will not come on until the machine fully initialises/boost hence that is ok for now.Go ahead and confirm the voltage measurements as per earlier post.

If your NTKS are ok then the problem is coming from somewhere else, how did the machine stop last time? did it display any kind of error? Heidelberg being displayed on the cptronic and MID LCD means the software hasn't initialized, you need to do a basic initialization procedure to isolate the problem.

 

24vdc ok.not found any trouble on voltage and there is no short.

my friend tell me that have indicated trouble on CPU board.and now he bring 5 board on top panel to try to another same machine.

Good to know you have a friend that can help you with the troubleshooting.Now that you have taken the five(5) processor driven boards on top layer to another machine for test, which of the boards has been confirmed faulty? Also when is the year of manufacture of this press?

Hello lexcron,

Please share your findings about the boards you have tested on a similar machine. If none of the boards are found faulty then I suspect the problem might be with one of your input/output boards.

finally,i found ic on board EAK_D03 is burning.
after checked by heidelberg technician, motor M33 can't spin and varian number on cpc reseted.
