I am running a 2000 sm52 2 color without console. I am getting an intermittent error 15. It shows the symbol for the red emergency stop. It looks like #11 is feed and #14 is delivery. but what/where would a #15 be. It seems to come and go without doing anything. Any help would be appreciated.

#15 is the electrical cabinet. There are a few things that can cause this. Easiest is probably insufficient air pressure. Make sure you pneumatic pump is not running continuously and make sure you dont have a major air leak (or a bunch of small ones). Other than that you would need to look in the dynamic error screen and see what errors are on your machine at the time this #15 shows up. Dyn Test screen is service wrench 2 and it looks like a "T" with a circle around it. Scroll through the screens and look for a flashing 4 digit alphanumeric code. Let me know what this code is and I will let you know what the problem is.

Cool thanks. I am getting worried that it is about to leave me down.
We are running on shop air. The compressor kicks in right below 120 psi. I notice when the press is turned on with the tank having less than the 120 I will get the insufficient air error. I will force the compressor to kick in and will be good to go for the rest of the day. If the tank has more than 120 when I power up the press it will be ok. No leaks, I can run all day without the compressor cycling. However During the past month we have been running bindry equipment that uses air more than normal. I will pay attention to the air pressure when it happens next.

This 15 error is has happened like 3 times this past couple weeks and a couple times in the few months before this. Next time it happens I will see what error cods are happening like you said. Thanks a lot.

Well, since I posted on here the error hasnt happened again. LOL thanks for fixing my machine.... Actually I think it might have been the shop air going low often due the busy bindry dept those couple months...

    Hey guys,

Well, today this showed up again.

I tried to get the codes but I am unsure if I am doing it correctly. When I go to the DYN test (T with a circle) with the right up down I can choose five different t screens. Numbered "t=1" through "t=5". When the error was active each of theses screens had at least a couple of lines and one had two pages worth. None of them were blinking. I was looking for a blinking line.

I turned off the power and now no error. Now In the dyn test, all 5 screens show no lines of information.

Am I reading the codes correctly?

The T-0 screen is what is currently happening on the machine. Each time you reboot the screen will drop from 0 to -1 and -1 will go to -2 and so on. After -5 you loose the information. -1 to -5 will give you a history of dyn errors on the machine within the last 5 reboots.

    Ok makes sense....

Is anything on that is listed a problem or just a status. Should I look for something blinking?

Does it make sense that after turning the machine off one time that all 5 screens are empty. Reboot means turn the machine off and on correct?

    thanks.-Henry

I would think that rebooting the machine would change the current status (0) screen to the -1 screen. If I remember correctly anything blinking is a fault. Not all faults result in a down machine. Some could be minor some major faults. Just depends on the code.

    We have the same problem!

The air was repaired. Within 2 months there was no error, but now appeared again. I am attaching pictures of bugs. I hope for your help.
    P.S. Sorry for my English
