Thread: CPC controls

Hi there, I'm very new to the industry and I have very quickly found out that there is a shortage in comprehensive information online about presses in general. So even though my questions moving forward may seem basic knowledge, but please entertain as you be a great help.

ok so, I understand that there are different types of computer controls on a heidelberg press,

what are the main differences between
CPC 1-01,CPC 1-02, CPC 1-03 and a CPC 1-04???
oh and a classic centre?

The main differences have to do with their capabilities in regards to the control of the machine functions. The early CPC 1-01 had a rudmentary ability to adjust plate registration and ink keys. CPC 1-02 was largely the same. CPC 1-03 and 04 had presets for a large amount of the accessories for the press, air, dampening, ink, which units you were using, perfector changover (Semi-auto), registration, etc.
