CPC 21 problem

Displaying this error: Not enough measuring light, soiled calibration field? Lamp or glass, optical fibre cable defective?


anyone have any ideas?

 

Just had a similar problem.
Attempts;
I'm sure you have cleaned the glass.
I'm sure you have replaced the bulb.
If it did not solve the problem then the cables might need to be replaced, those fiber optic cables break internally.
If you can remove the cables, place one end near a light source (the light on the console will do ).
Look at the other end. you should see the individual fiber optic cables that are not transmitting light, that means they're broken inside.
In my case, more than 50% were out. Replacement was necessary, After that it worked great again.
Good Luck! They were not cheap! But worth it!
