Converting a perfector

    Hi Guys,
    Is it possible to convert a 8 color 1/7 press to 4/4?

    i suppose it could be done if your pockets were deep enough

    The reason why I asked this question is that one of my friend who is installing an 8color sm 102 year 1992, that press was imported form USA and was sold to his client as a 4/4 press. When he was installing that press according to numbers of the side frames, It should be a 1/7 ,but the according to the marks on the side guards and dampening motors it was an 8 color.
    The serial number of the press has the letter C in the end......

    if the press is 1/7 it is an 8 colour, the dampening motors should would not have moved with the location of the perfectaaa
