Have you tried altering the ink charge timing inside the panel on the drive side, there is no definite setting, just trial and error.
    Good luck.

What is the condition of your rollers?
Did you tried different set of inks?
Also as NotAGooner said, Alter your ink ductor timings.

we've had some success with that issue and certain jobs, it helped backing off the impression pressure and turning off the varrio. Once a job is perfectly fit up try to the above mentioned distribution adjustment. You can hide the banding behind busier areas where a fresh eye wont see

Are you showing a dot slur either on the image in the questionable area, or perhaps even showing a slur in the slur bar. If your seeing a double or slur then the first thing I would try would be a different paper. Preferably a KNOWN first quality sheet. If it prints without the banding with a good sheet then you know what you've gotta do. If it still shows a double or a slur you need to do the usual remedy for that. A quick fix might be to determine the problem unit and then try spraying both the impression cylinder, and transfer cylinder grippers with some WD40 and then working each individual gripper open and closed a few times to loosen up any sluggish grippers. Of course a major wiping down of all these grippers and shafts will be a must, but it just make help, before resorting to the more costly options.

I usually dont recomend the use of WD40 on a printing press anywhere. While WD40 can be used to loosen frozen or sticking parts its really not a lubricant. Just because it may free up parts does not mean it is also lubricating them. Usually if you do get a part to free up with WD40 it will in short time freeze up again. It can attract moisture and will rust out your bearing blocks, bearings, gripper shaft and cam followers. If you do choose to use it to free up grippers you must then use a true lubricant and plenty of it to flush out all WD40 afterward to keep the part from freezing again. Usually you can use a lubricant to free up and lube parts at the same time. My suggestion is to use WD40 on squeeky door hinges and Komoris. Lubricant only on Heidelbergs.

Wild guess here but is it a 52cm size press that you're talking about?
