| Anyone here currently using a ProFold 1117 FM Friction Folder? Looking at one used on ebay - not sure if I should bid on it or hold out for a baum. How is the fold quality with the ProFold? How easy is it to setup compared to other folders? Is it reliable or does it require constant attention to prevent jams, doubles, and misfolds? What is the heaviest stock you can run? Any options would be greatly appreciated. |

| IMO, the profold folders are not as well built as the Baum folders. And there aren't as many around. Baums have the most parts availability, rebuild kits, and people around who know how to fix and rebuild them, if you're looking at a used machine. |
