Challenge 305 MPC computer problems

Our challenge 305 mpc has been acting erratically.
Sometimes when the flag passes through the 5" mark it will beep that it is out of calibration.
we then have to run it through the calibration several times and it works again.
we are thinking we need to replace the computer.
probable too much $$ for an older cutter.
any help is appreciated. thanks

 

Run the backguage back and forth BEHIND the 5" mark many times. Then make a cut and measure it. Probably off. Then come forward thru the 5" mark it will beep and reset encoder. But the encoder is probably your issue and they can be expansive.
