    Hi,

Varn products you can buy in Slovenia at GRAFIK doo Ljubljana.
They also sell in Croatia and in Serbia (which is nearest to you).

    quick master 46 di

    hi
a client has sent me the cd in PDF for the job as well as e TEST PROOF done in a epson pro 9800. When i do printing there is a difference in the tone of the colours between the TEST PROOF and the job.
Can somebody tell me if a calibration is necessary, and if yes,has to be calibrated QM acording to epson or vice verce. In this case do we need only softwere and hardwere or both of those ?
If yes, where or how i can find it ?
sorry for such stupid (lol) but nobody know about those calibrations.

You have opened a big discussion! First of all, you need to calibrate your laser heads. If you had a ctp, it would be like calibrating dot gain. Dot gain depends on the machine (diameter of the cylinders and geometry of the press), the ink, the rollers and the blankets. Theoretically whenever one ofthese things change, you have to run a calibration. Actually you do this once, and then never changr ink and blanket supplier. If you dont have calibrated heads, a 50% raster screen could be printed in the end like 75%. By those deviation on screen ruling, you can never print like the proof.

After you have calibrated dot gain, you mach your proof printer to your machine, not the other way arround

    Hi E,

Have a look on your RIP and make sure you are running on your calibration curve on page set up.
Can you check and ask Marsel if he got my text this week.
