    Hello all,

Forgive me but I am new and this is my first post here.

I currently run several digital machines and looking to possibly more into the DI press world but have a few questions.

I have been looking at the QDMI 46 run of DI's and comparable units but don't think they will do most of what I need.

I am mainly looking to print a full bleed 12x18 image 4/4 and most of the specs I see show the 46 qnd the pressteck 34 to be a max image of ~12.99 x 17.79 .

Can anyone tell me of the most economic DI that will run a 12 x 18 bleed image ?

    Thanks
    TGT

The ONLY DI press that can print these specs is the Presstek 52. If you can run smaller images , then you have more options (Heidelberg, Ryobi, Presstek, Kodak)

    Hi -
The Presstek 52DI is a landscape format press with a 20.07" x 14.76" maximum print area. It is also available with an aqueous coater.

Thanks! That is what I was finding but just wanted to make sure. and Thanks to everyone else for the replies and info. We are a mainly a digital house and growing daily but I think a 52 may be out of our budget for now. I have seen several well priced QDMI 46 type presses and thought it might be an option but most of the work I need it for is 12x18 full bleed. I was kinda suprised to find most of these presses were max image of 17.69 or so.

    Thanks!
    Tom
