Ink duct foam strip - qmdi classic 1997

Can anyone please advise where I can get the thin foam strips that are located just in front of the ink keys and under the clear tape that goes over the ink keys and under the ink duct foil?

I hope that makes sense!! It is a very thin and soft strip of foam that sits just on top of the ink keys. It is covered by the self adhesive tape that goes over the keys.

Does anyone know what the part number for this foam is? Is it available from Heidelberg? Please advise.

yes, Heidelberg does sell them. I had run a qmdi for a few years in the last shop I worked for. The "tape", you are talking about, is on most heidelberg presses now days. a quick call to heidelberg and they should fix you up with what you need. You will have to give your model # to them so they can match up the right size for your machine.
