    Good Day Everyone,

Could someone please tell me what the errors in the attached screen shot mean?

Please note that this press is currently NOT in production. I am trying to ascertain what problems there may be on the press. It is a press that I am purchasing and I need to find out what faults to expect.

Thank you for any feedback you may have.

    Regards

    Shawn

The ovrtmp means your cooling unit is either not on or not cooling. The fuseflt and blc errors tell me your Laser Drive Module is no longer functioning. The ovrcurrent error could be related to the 12/36v power supply.

    Hi Paul,

Many thanks for your response to my post. Can you advise on how these issues can be resolved?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is this going to be a costly repair?

    Thanks again for your reply.

    Regards

    Shawn

Your cooling unit should be at 4.5 bars when it is running, if the pressure is lower than that you do not have enough water in it. You will have to check around for a Laser Drive Module, prices are all over the place on those as well as the power supplies. If you are adept with electronics you can install them yourself. If not, I recommend having a technician install them for you.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks again for your reply. I am familiar with the Laser Drive Module and I understand what you mean about the pressure in the refrigeration unit.

When you mention "power supplies", is there one for each unit? Do you have a picture of what this looks like?

    Please advise - Thanks again!

The power supply is in the gold box in the console over the PC. There is a fuse on it that could be blown also, although I have never seen it blown, typically the supply is just bad.

Thanks again Paul - much appreciated!

The press is arriving at our shop on Thursday next week.

I should have a better idea as to what's going on once we have the press on-site.

    Thanks again!
