We have a QMDI Pro with a Delta 7.0 RIP. The RIP has recently quit working. We have recovered the hard drive and attempted to build a new computer using the drives.

The Delta RIP software appears to be there and when we try to start it it prompts us for the dongle. The dongle is on a USB stick and when we try to use it the new computer, the computer doesn't seem to recognize the dongle. The original computer also has what looks like a parallel port connector on the back.

Does it need to be used with the new computer/RIP perhaps? Does anyone have any thoughts on either dongle and it usage?

Last question; does anyone have an old set of install disks for the Delta RIP in case we want to try installing it from scratch?

Hi Augustov. Thanks for your reply. I think you are right; we are going to have to look for a new RIP. You mentioned a price in your reply. Do you mean that you sell these RIPs or know where I could get one? Thanks, Phil.

The parallel port is the dongle. Connect it at the back of the new computer.
