    DI Rip Network Workgroup Question

    My question is I would like to change the workgroup that my DI RiP PC is currently in to the same workgroup that the operators are working in. I have a few Windows 2003 server that are used as fileservers and are configured in a different workgroup.
    If i change the the NT4 (Harlequin) RIP I am under the impression that I would need to adjust the QuickMaster configure so it will communicate with the RIP.
    I read that i would need to plug in an AT style keyboard and boot into dos and run a config util. Can anyone confirm the instructions?

    Yes, exit from the green GUI screen of the DI console with alt+x
    you are then able to run the dos net client config util, by typing netconfig og simply edit the the autoexec.bat
    I didn't need to change mine, when i changed the workgroup for my rip, so let it be and see what happens

    You can change the workgroup without any issues. Only if you change the computer name do you have to edit the startnet.bat file.
