Can anyone help when it comes to trying to print red on a DI Press? We think it is in the pdf conversion but not sure.

Do you mean red as a pms colour made up out of the process colours or a single colour magenta on say..... unit 3 ?

    Page Setup

Edit your page setup and then click on the hand pointing to four color pages. This will open the separations manager. When you open the separations manager edit your separation style (e.g.: CMYK Separations). If it is set to Cyan: Yes, Magenta: Yes, etc. but Other Colors in Job is Set to "No". Change Other Colors in Job to "Not Blank". This way if the RIP gets a job that has another color in the job (such as Pantone 108C) it will process the color and output the file with the Pantone color. If you only output CMYK which is what most of the DIs are used for then you can leave it at the default setting of CMYK (Yes) Other Colors in Job (No).
