I'm currently evaluating the Ricoh Pro C651ex. Has anyone had any experience with this printer? Pro's/Con's? Thanks for any guidance!

I am also looking at the Ricoh Pro 651ex.

My other options are the Konika Minolta Press c6000 or c7000.

Has anyone worked on any of these machines.

The Pro C651ex is a good machine. But you need to consider your monthly volume, printing materials and so on before committing to any printers.

I have experience with the Konica Minolta PRESS line. I work for a dealer with branches in Texas and Tennessee. I can sell you a C6000 or C7000 for a great price. However, you will have to pay for service through another dealer to get a good rate since you are out of our service zone. I can give you service pricing that we could offer through another dealer, if that would be helpful as a point of comparison. To give you an idea, inside our service zone, we charge .0128 per click for black and .0417 per click for color for the C6000 and C7000.
As for the cost of the printer:
You are better off leasing if you are going to run high volumes. I can offer you the C6000 with the ES-1000 spectrometer, HDD, Preview Kit, and Embedded Fiery Controller for $24,500 or $439/month for 60 months, any additional accessories are 50% off MSRP. The C7000 with the ES-1000 spectrometer, HDD, Preview Kit, and Embedded Fiery Controller is $28,000 or $502/month for 60 months.

I purchased the press 4 months ago
from the get go the machine battles to print vignettes (smooth gradients) as well as
the toner distribution is highly uneven resulting in sheets printing darker on the right hand side of the sheet, for example you have a solid red background, resulting print is red on the right hand side and orange on the left, the technicians after trying to fix the problem finally removed the machine and replaced it with a new engine, we have had the new press for two weeks and have the exact same problems, to fix the vignette problem we have purchased ORIS press matcher which has made a huge difference in the colour but we still sit with the toner distribution problem. we await to hear from technicians at this stage
