Wohlenberg Mcs3tv - performs a cutting cycle and is blocked for the next cut

HI THERE
I need help with the cutter Wohlenberg Mcs3tv .
It performs a cutting cycle and is blocked for the next cut .
Turning off and relight it is unlocked.
from and appreciate any help.

 

Hi.
Most of the times this happens when the safety lever (knife locking lever) delayed fall down after the cutting cycle. Pour some oil into the lever hinges and the solenoid shaft and move it up and down by hand with power off. Then turn it on and check.

Remove the top back cover and You will find this mechanism right above the flywheel.

Nimesh Hello , first of all thanks for answering , try with oil and nothing.
You should know also that local technicians have tried adjusting the position of the cam beds microswitch .
Similarly the program is locked , the issue is resolved by switching off and turning on the machine.
I await your valuable help.

In that case, we have a lot to check.
Does it completely turned off after the first cut after power on and emits a series of beeps?
When adjusting the cam switches, it has to be done very carefully. Cam switches are usually not problematic. Anyway, assuming the cam switches are in correct places now, there is a whole bunch of relays on the board in the control box at the other side of the machine. You may check the relays for correct function. (Even though the relay arm moves, the good contact may not make due to contact point corrosion. That is sometimes the hardest part in those wohlenbergs). And also check the good contacts of the cam switches and the switch at the back of the knife locking lever. (Sometimes this can happen due to delayed make of the contacts)

Check these and let me know.

The problem has been solved .
A single switch was not making good contact.
Cams also needed a better fit throughout the cycle.

The relays of this model wohlemberg . You know where they can get ???

Glad that you've solved the problem.
The original brand relays seems not out there anymore. So once I've used omron MY4 relays and they seems working quite well. And if you can spend, use genuine relays with gold contacts and they will last quite long.
You may try eBay.

Have you check the battery on the PCB inside the upper control box? (Behind the keyboard)
The voltage should be >3V. If not, change the battery and come back.

And while changing the battery, carefully check PCB portion under the battery. The battery might have oozed out and the acid may have damaged the hair thin PCB traces.

Tnx!!! for your quick response really appreciate as u say I checked z battery u mean 3.6 soldered battery on the main board ya it is 2.75v is it make a matter??? how can i replace? may loose programing data B/c i dont have any manual for that.

Yes, you battery is too low. Did the language changed? (To German obviously)

 

SO my dear how can you help to reprogram z machine any manual do u have please????

 

the language is still English the data on z display is still appear but there is a message start the main motor z MCS ready message is not present.

 

Can you post a photo of the start screen?

OK. It seems, if you're not getting the "start main motor" message, most probably you have a burnt IC. I have once repaired such a machine. Anyway, send me a photo. Then we'll see what we can do.

How do you turn the machine off? Do you press the red button before switch off the main switch?

I have few questions now,

Does the main motor starts when you turn the key clockwise and press the green button?

Does it change over to Delta?

After the motor had changed over to Delta, the key must turn back. Otherwise the blade will not come down. Have you done it?

What do you mean by "the relay energizes"? Which relay are you talking about?
