A client of mine has an intermittent problem with the knife: when turned on in the morning, the knife comes down and stops with error 470 "knife impulse missing". After cranking it up by hand two or three times, the problem goes away and the knife works fine for the rest of the day.
I myself never witnessed this anomaly, but I did test the power supply, all voltages seem to be fine. Could it be the encoder?

Test the time in cam with 2 limit switchs b22a+b22b
there are +24vdc¿¿ see if the wiring are loose or broken or dirty ¿
or loose cam, or pin broken in the cam
Test too the sensors or microswitch in Safety Bolt Solenoid see
if the voltages are present +24vdc
see the schematic diagram and follow for loose wires or contact dirty or broken from limit switch

please too the Safety bolt solenoid for+42vdc , lube the shaft and
see if working very well can be the winding(internally open by overheating) to
due the aging or cycle duty.

Hi Chock, thank you for your help. I have a different problem with Polar 92 EMC-MON now. After power outage cutter screen covered entirely with "+" signs,
    +++++++++++++++
+++++++++++++++ etc. I have my +5 and +24 volts, but the machine seems to be brain dead. I think PC1 board might be the problem. If you have any idea please let me know. Thanks again!

    Hi sir
ok , however you must test the voltage for +9Volts in keyborad , -12Vdc-30vdc+42vdc
    in section CU
Some missing voltages, or under the Tolerance, the machine will not function properly
Try to adjust the Tap for the secondary Control Transformer, rectifier, charging capacitor, and voltage
    stabilizng components.
    Check your schematic diagram please.
Test the input voltage for the machine is ther 380Vca or other ??
    is there in the tolerance?
Regards and back to me any doubt

    Hi,
Is your cutter working apart from the ++++ signs?? Or it won't do anything?

If it's completely dead, then your suspect might correct.

    Let's test some points.
First, there is a small black button on the upper corner of the CP1 card and there is a red LED in the middle of that button. Does it comes on after you turned on the power?
And also check the 5V from the PS card it should be 5-5.1V. and also there is a red LED too on the PS card. Is it come on? In normal operation, it shouldn't come on. And 3 green LEDs should come on.

It's better if you can post a photo of the card rack after turning on the power.

Check them and let me know.

Did you check the rest of voltage that i did indicate Before?
    +9Volts in keyborad , -12Vdc-30vdc+42vdc
All this voltages, has relation with Digital electronic, for Microprocessor, or CPU,
    memory, keyboard, etc
If some of them are faulty or out tolerance, you have problem with the rest of machine
Remember the power supply is the HEART of any ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
