Error 80 Polar 115 EMC

Dear Members:

My Polar 115 EMC is "locked" and displays error 80.

We do not have the service manual for this cutter.

We would like to pinpoint the error to ascertain which card if any is making the error.

The official text is: Error in data transfer between main computer and positioning computer.
The possible reasons are:
Power supply
Board AR
Board HR
Board IAR
Flat cable in front the boards
I thing, a specialist for Polar cutters would help. Because you cannot say it is definitely this or that part / board. Your trouble starts allready with checking the power supply. You dont know the official values and the tolerances. Error 80 is not so often. This means you have to try.

Vielen danke Coloured paper! Before calling the Polar dealer we will check the boards for superficial damage and the power supply for burnt fuses, as we have current spikes and thunderstorm in Costa Rica.
