What printer works best with CIS?

Hi to all. i've recently taken up some photographing and in future will do lots of printing. i decided to go for an inkjet with a CIS cos' it promises to be economizing, but now i cannot decide which printer will be the best. i've heard that there are certain problems with canons with cis, cos' they have unbelievably perverted chips and sometimes CIS doesn't work very well on them. so i'm currently trying to choose between canon and epson, but still not sure. any advice will be appreciated.
