Hi I am n press operator looking for some advice on spot colours. Our prepress is running on preps 5&6 and i am running a ls 440 komori when prepress puts n job thru to us that is a 2 colour print in this case black & p541 its put thru as a cmyk plus spot and my profile on kms have yellow an magenta values but no values for the spot. my question is how should the job be put thru is this the right way
Hi, I run a komori, and use kms. I don't know the details of how prepress sends profiles, but I get spot colors so I would say your prepress needs to do something different.
