I am looking for a new router because my old has decided to stop working. I have 5 laptops + desktop computer + 2 iPhones + XBOX 360. What would be ideal for this usage level?

I don't think you need to break the bank on a router for this application unless you have a real screamer of a RIP; any linksys or netgear gigabit router should do the job ok. Definitely make sure it's gigabit so you can get files to your RIPs quickly. If it supports jumbo framing that would be a plus to better utilize the gigabit if RIP nics can be configured. But unless you're also working with NAS or other more tunable things on the network, I don't think you need to stress too much.

Try the D-Link, I am using it at home. We have 2 Laptops, 1 Netbook and 2 PSP. Also, cellphones with WLAN. For me it was really fast.

I wouldn't bother breaking the bank, a mid range wireless one would work, I've had good experience with d-link routers

HP ProCurve networking equipment is quality. I've had one for years and it hasn't had a single problem.
