Thread: toshiba 6550 - develop - konica biz hub

I run a digital print shop for a year now with a toshiba e studio 3550. I bought this printer just to see if things would go good for my bussines and know its time to get a bigger machine, because 3550 cant cover my needs. (sorry, my english is poor).

Now i am thinking on the bigger toshiba the 6550 which i can get with only 18.000 euro because they will take my old toshiba at the price i have bought it.

But i am worried if the toshiba 6550 wont cover my needs, and i am thinking for a biz hub or develop which is the same think. I care a lot for the quality of the print, the stability and the problems free printing.Price of contracts is the last i am looking for

Does any one can tell my if konica biz hub worth the diference in price?
in coclusion i can get....

toshiba6550 with only 18.000 euro
konica biz hub or develop with around 30.000 euro

konica / develop / and olivetti are basically all the same machines, i have one and the service is excellent as is the quality. But if your planning on spending that much, i would look very closely between these and also look at the xerox, as i think it can handle heavier media and duplex it. xerox users would be able to tell you more, but this is where i would be looking if it were me...
what sort of quantities are you running by the way, as this is a major factor, especially if your going into production machines?
