I am having a small problem with colors. I print a color presentation on an HP Color Laserjet 4005 which looks great and then print the same presentation on a Sharp Color Copier (6200) and the colors are all messed up.

Can anyone explain to me why this would be?

    Thanks
    Aaron

Can you post a scan of the two prints side by side (if using the quick reply, click "go advanced" and then "manage attachments" to attach an image to your post.)

Are the colors you are sending RGB or CMYK? Does it make any difference if you convert the colors to cmyk before printing the document?

Listen to Jeff and next try to print both of them without color management.

    Hi Adnorton,

All printer are called Device dependent Color. The Files you are sending to both printers has a different enterpretation aside from different Color Gamut.
They only way to make their color "most likely the Same" is to simulate the other thru Color management in RIP.

    Adnorton,

billy is right. The only way to print the same file on two different devices would be to color manage your workflow because the two devices work differently.
