| Anyone here ever run a Watkiss Vario Slimvac collator/bookletmaker/trimmer setup? Can you share the good, the bad, and the ugly compared to other bookletmaker setups you've run (e.g. Watkiss Vario vs. Bourg, vs. Duplo) What should I look carefully at when considering a used Watkiss Vario setup on ebay? I'm a little worried because there aren't very many Watkiss vario collators on the market, so parts and servicing/maintenance might be a problem with a used machine. But the ones that do go are quite a bargain, and the modular nature of the system where you can add bins as needed is greatly appealing. |

| service is notorious with watkiss, they are always on the cusp of inventing something revolutionary. Hense the vario with different amounts of bins. The problem is they are pushing that envalope so hard that they leave behind lots of orphins that have been upgraded to new models. |

This could be a great machine when it runs properly. The problem is that is never runs properly and good luck finding someone knowledgeable to service it. I'd stay far away from this machine. |
