Default Horizon vs. Duplo

Dear All,

I am about to purchase an used stiching line thinking between Horizon MC 80 and Duplo 10000S, does anyone has experience with this type of machines?
Also, I would like to use all stations for both straight collating and booklet making, which machine is "more modular" easily to shift type of jobs?

thanks

Default Bourg is not considered

Thanks for reply.
No, I did not consider Bourg, because I hate bourg. I had Bourg BB3000 binder which works, how to say, from bad to worse. I completely got mad about it, it had spoiled me few important jobs and I have lost two great publishers as a costumers.
What is worse that machine is constructed not to work properly, it holds cover in the air and you never have passer when binding!
If someone wants to found the club of bourg haters I am joining it!

Have not used or considered a bourg perfect binder (thanks for the info!) but their collators and stitcher / folder / trimmer and bookletmakers are quite widespread in the industry. There are so many of the old horizontal AE models out there that parts are fairly easy to come by, and I've not heard bad things about the new airfeed towers except for price new.

P.S. LCE moves a lot of the bourg but also some of the duplo and horizon and other collating systems - http://www.lcegraphics.com/ - it would be interesting to give them a call and get their take (I'm not affiliated with them in any way)
