Does anyone have an idea of what the schedule is for the release of the printer driver of Canon ImagePRESS C1(Fiery T1 Server) for the latest Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard).

I'm about to buy new Macs across the studio, but Canon are saying they won't work with the ImagePRESS C1 as there's no printer driver yet.

    Will know soon

Do you have any news about your issue?

I have the same problem at my work, we've got an ImagePress C1 with T1 v1 server and I'm unable to print with snow leopard...

We will have a Canon technicien here soon to check it up so if he make it work i'll send you a reply!

    Snow Leopard Drivers

The Snow Leopard drivers were posted on the e-support site last December for the US, I'm not sure how thay are handled in your location.

CanonPPD_v2.85.zip ...imageRUNNER, Color imageRUNNER and imagePRESS PPD v2.85 for Macintosh OS9.1 or later / OSX 10.2.8 or 10.6.2

    Regards,
    John

No iPR T1 Drivers in v2.85

yep, I've try the v2.85 but it look's like their's only drivers for The iPR C1, no sign of iPR T1 server drivers...

And if I configure my iPR T1 with the C1 drivers, it isn't working... :(

Canon T1 and the snow leopard

    HI there,

After hassling Canon, they came in last week and installed a beta driver for the T1. We have had to set up a print server using an old mac and direct all the printing through this, which means we can't track who is printing what on the Canon, but are less at risk if the beta driver does not act stable.

Canon say they are still testing the drivers, and that one should be available over the next few months, but they can't/won't commit to a date.

    Keep me updated your end!

    Thanks
    Deb
