Has anyone else had their service agreement canceled on a C1 being only 3 years old and only done 554420 combined Colour & B/W clicks?

Machine was sold new by BBC Berwicks Sunshine Coast and they are also the Service company. Machine under Canon Finance Rental Contract with 2 years to go.

Not sure what to do as machine breaks down more than it runs. If I have to pay for service it will break me.

See if Canon USA (or UK) will create a service plan for you. Im not sure why BBC canceled your current plan, perhaps they no longer cover that product.
Explain to Canon what happened and im sure they will take care of you. You could always look into a trade in, if your not happy with the C1, that is...

The reason BBC Berwicks in Australia canceled the Service Agreement was it was breaking down so much their Tech was here for on average 1 day a week.
Costing them more in parts and wages than what the machine was doing in click charges. So they think it is easier just to walk away from it and leave us with the trouble and not honour their Purchase Contract where is states
"Canon guarantees to maintain your printer/copier for a period of 5 years from initial purchase. The above details, with appropriate adjustments for GST, will be fixed for the recommended manufactures life of the machine."
I have contacted Canon Aust. But no help yet. The C1 still has 2 years to go on a Rental Contract so trading in works out to be quit costly.

Such a crooked company to break a service agreement like that. This is a tough decision to make, but i cant see any company or individual paying out of pocket for their own repairs and service. Some PM (End of duty cycle maintenance) service's can be thousands of dollars.

You may have to buy out your lease and move on, or take someone to court. Can BBC legally break there agreement to service your machine?
