I've heard good things about this digital press. From what I've read as
well as have seen at the trade shows, the quality is amazing, it's near
lithographic. Canon did a good of including technologies that assist
with the feeding of media into the marking engine. It's not just a
friction fed device. The POD decks come with enhanced air assit, which
circulates air through the deck, suction belt with air to feed the paper
into the marking engine and air separation technology which fans the
first few papers, like an offset press.

    Sincerely,

looking into both machine choices, both comes with different focus

Canon = Great halftone and resolution 1200dpi. Try printing a 2% incremental teat chart on this engine. Great results

Oce 6160 (there is no such model 1160) = Workhorse up to duty cycle 4.5M print per month

    So what is your prints?
    Text only, go for Oce
Mix with pictures, go for Canon
    Solid blacks, go for Canon
    Price, go for Canon
Cost per print, go for Oce
