Canon C6000 Dots in white area

    need your help.....
    I have Canon Iamgepress C6000 and we problem that we find small dots in non printing area (white area) with Coated paper

    any feedback

    Let me guess, the dots are yellow'ish ?

    If it's a repeating yellow dot pattern, you are probably seeing the government mandated counterfeit prevention yellow dot pattern. It's usually not too much of a problem, but sometimes it's noticeable :(
    It was put in place to keep people from copying money. I believe it contains information about the machine so the government can track what equipment a color copy was made on.

    P.S. It's too bad money isn't printed with metallics or other custom colors that a 4-color digital machine can't do so the digital machines weren't made to suffer with the yellow dots. Most of the time they are no problem, but sometimes I do notice them and it's bothersome. One example is certain solid blue skies where the yellow dot pattern shows. Another is when doing a light coverage invite where the print is supposed to be glossy taking advantage of the toner's gloss on the stock -- the yellow dot pattern shows a bit and bothers me.
