Default C6000 and ICC profiles

We have a canon 6000 and would like to simulate our offset press by using and ICC profile. When I apply the profile I get a gray background screen I have tried all the rendering intents and get the same result. Is any one else out there using custom ICC profiles for the canon with any luck?

you might want to check your paper if there is an OBA. During the creation of profile, you should have check the box for correcting the OBA. This is one cause. Try to select the quick rather than the full source or full output. By the way, the imagepress can not pass the ISO 12647-7 or the Gracol G7. The Gamut is small for the printer to simulate the Gracol or ISO.

Basically the Red of ISO is too m:much for the ImagePress to cover.
